MIND COMPUTER PRODUCTS TAKES TOP SPOT IN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TESTING

'Mind Master Series Ranked Best Among Top Manufacturers

WINNIPEG-A product series produced by Winnipeg-based Mind Computer Products has been judged the best overall in independent testing for federal government procurement purposes.

The latest round of testing at the beginning of February for the federal governments National Master Standing Offer (NMSO) ranked the Mind Master series, which includes the Mind Master P4 1900Q and the Mind Master AXP 1800G2 , in the top spot in two competitive categories for both highest score and best value.

Our systems consistently rank in the top spots in the NMSO testing and thats why thousands of our computers have been purchased by the federal government and other large clients," said Mind Computer Products CEO Brad Fry. Mind computers have ranked high for several years in the federal testing program, which is run by Public Works & Government Services Canada and conducted by National Software Test Labs. The program rates computer systems and other equipment on a weighted scale to determine overall value and provide a guideline for federal departments in their purchasing.

The ranking of the Mind Master series surpassed computers submitted by the top-tier international manufacturers including Dell, Hewlett Packard, Compaq and IBM in the governments '1.2 category. In this class the Mind series was one of only two Canadian products to even qualify.
