STR Software Wins Contract from Mead for First Joint Web-based Information Delivery System

STR Software recently won a contract from the Mead Corporation to implement the first EasyLink solution of AventX Mail ASP. Mail ASP will enable the $4.4 billion forest products company to transport its documents electronically via an application service provider (EasyLink) without added capital investment in hardware.

RICHMOND, VA -- FEBRUARY 20, 2002 -- STR Software recently won a contract from the Mead Corporation to implement the first EasyLink solution of AventX Mail ASP. Mail ASP will enable the $4.4 billion forest products company to transport its documents electronically via an application service provider (EasyLink) without added capital investment in hardware. The contract also includes AventX UNIX and AventX SAP Connector. Historically, Mead used a fax server solution to manage its document delivery volume. However, the STR-EasyLink solution provided Mead the hardware-free, web-based alternative it was seeking.
