CALGARY, AB, February 13, 2002 -- XENTEL DM Incorporated (CDNX:XDM), a North American specialty entertainment and relationship marketing company, today announced robust sales in the United States, continuing a growth trend which started in 2001 after the successful consolidation of the acquired US specialty entertainment business.

With most of the Companys US client base in the public safety area (such as firefighters, veterans and police associations), the positive response this year to Xentels entertainment and public awareness offerings has been unprecedented

To serve this increased demand Xentel has opened its first new sales call center in a year, in West Palm Beach, Florida. In addition the Company plans to open a new business to business call center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this quarter.

Xentel Increases Operating Efficiencies
All centers are increasing capacity utilization, while enhanced data management software has augmented operator productivity in the US by 11%. Under a pilot project in conjunction with Noble Systems of Atlanta, Georgia, Xentel has replaced its call center hardware and software in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Toronto, Ontario. The Company continues to monitor productivity and customer satisfaction in the context of these new installations.

These initiatives are part of a comprehensive program of cost cutting and optimization of resources reflected in the strong turnaround reported in our third quarter results on October 29, 2001. Xentel anticipates the growth and profitability trend will continue.
