New York, NY - While attending Interep's 4th Power of Urban Radio symposium in New York for urban radio executives, in early February MOBE President Yvette Moyo announced the 2002 marketing partners for MOBE's upcoming 10th
Anniversary Advanced Marketing Conference in New York.

After participating in a panel discussion, The Value of the African
American Market: A Marketer's Perspective, Moyo said, "We are
pleased to announce our anniversary conference partners at the Power
of Urban Radio, particularly because Interep has also been a MOBE
partner for the past five years," she added. "It is the
power of partnerships like these that have allowed us to create
synergies and build business opportunities on behalf of African
American businesses and entrepreneurs."

Moyo said 2002 partners for the MOBE Conference include Target, AOL
Time Warner, Ford Motor Company, Microsoft, BlackPlanet.com, and
EURweb.com. Magazine partners include, African Americans on Wheels, Black Enterprise, Upscale and the Network Journal.

Regarding the partners, Moyo commented, "These companies have
recognized the power of strategic partnerships and MOBE's
business building value, as it relates to marketing to the emerging
majorities, particularly African American consumers. By working with
organizations like MOBE and Interep, these companies build
business through a network of highly qualified marketers and minority
firms that have a track-record in successful cross-promotions
targeted to the urban market."

MOBE's corporate partners are highly regarded by their target
audience because of savvy marketing techniques, which include
learning from the marketing masters. Target, a MOBE partner for two
years, "has developed a excellent marketing approach," said
Moyo.

"Target's fast, fun, new generation approach to the market
has been successful and appeals to the young well-positioned
marketers and entrepreneurs MOBE attracts. These are the trendsetters
and influencers," said Greg Cunningham, Manager, Community
Relations Marketing for Target Corporation. "Target's Greg
Cunningham is one of the most respected new corporate marketing
minds. He represents the energy of one of the leading
growth companies in retailing. Communicating the brand value is
something he has mastered and will continue to benefit Target,"
Moyo continued.

During the 10th Anniversary conference, Moyo said they will continue
to work with partners to develop and expand programs that increase
business opportunities, strategic relationships and partnerships for
African American entrepreneurs.

MOBE's second year partnership with Ford Motor Company, focuses
on Empowerment Through Entrepreneurship, outlining the company's
leadership in innovative business initiatives supporting minority
small business and opportunities existing for minorities and women to
become Ford Motor Company dealers.

MOBE also has a career component that they are developing, which
looks promising for companies like AOL Time Warner, Microsoft and
MONY. This will allow companies with real opportunities to
meet highly qualified, highly motivated and diverse audience MOBE
attracts.

MOBE partner BlackPlanet.com will help produce the new MOBE Tech
Products Expo. Omar Wasow, NBC Tech commentator known as Oprah Winfrey's
technical and Internet guru, will host the expo and the
sixth presentation of the MOBE IT Awards brunch honoring influencers
of the internet and technology. MOBE-IT will be a big draw to
registrants, who are among marketing cross-promotion specialists and
tech savvy people of color. In addition to the latest in PDA, DVD
players, satellite radio, digital cameras and other product purchase
options, convergence strategies solutions will be addressed for
business owners and professionals.

The conference will be held April 6 - 10, 2002, at Millennium
Broadway Hotel in New York City.
