Kenny Howes to debut new lineup Friday, February 22 at the 10 High Club, Atlanta, GA.

After a hiatus, Atlanta Power Pop legend Kenny Howes launches a new band lineup and hits the stage.

Brace yourself for the debut of Kenny Howes new band tentatively titled Kenny Howes and the New Guys." They take the stage this Friday, Feb 22 at the 10 High Club (formerly known as The Dark Horse) in the Virginia Highlands section of Atlanta, GA at 10 PM.

Kenny took some time off, re-configured the group to include a keyboard/organ player and a drummer/vocalist and is back and ready to rock everyone with his catchy hooks, strong melodies, thick harmonies, and sincere lyrics.

The new group features Kenny Howes, lead vocals and electric guitar, Mark Bencuya, Hammond Organ and vocals, Kyle Harris, bass guitar and vocals, and Alex McGill, drum set and vocals.

Kenny Howes has released five CDs of his own material, "nothing wrong with that" (1995), "Kenny Howes' Second Album" (1996), and "Back To You Today!" (1998), the compilation "The Right Idea" (2000) and the just released "Kenny Howes and the Yeah!" (2002).

He has shared the stage with such artists as The Smithereens, Cheap Trick, Alex Chilton, Marshall Crenshaw, Jonathon Richman, and numerous others. He has been featured for three years at the Atlantis Music Conference in Atlanta and twice at the annual International Pop Overthrow festival in Los Angeles. He also performed at the 2001 Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta, a 3-day festival that draws over 300,000 music fans.
