National Defense Political Action Committee endorses SELF for Congress
WASHINGTON, DC: The National Defense Political Action Committee (NDP) has announced its endorsement of Keith Self for Congress from Texas. By unanimous vote of its Executive Committee, and in conjunction with its Board of Advisors, the NDP offers its full support to Mr. Self in his bid for United States Congress in Texas 26th District.
Keith Selfs service in the United States Army, as well as his views on our national defense, our military and veterans issues warrants his inclusion in our 2002 Defense Team," stated Elizabeth Kilbride, Director of Public Affairs and Candidate Liaison. I have taken the time to get to know Mr. Self. He has proven to have the Integrity, Character, Honesty and Morality to serve as a U.S. Congressman who will represent our Men and Women in uniform and our fellow Americans Capitol Hill. He will serve the 26th District of Texas Proud."
The NDP provides current and former military members, and other U.S. Citizens who are concerned about the current state of our armed forces and our National Security, an opportunity to collectively support Congressional Candidates that share in the belief that we need a strong military for the new millennium. It supports candidates that have honorably served in the United States Armed Forces, both Active and Reserve, who have Integrity, Character, Honesty and most of all Honor in their bid to become a member of Congress.
The NDP is a nonpartisan organization that believes an increase in former members of the military in Congress will create a better understanding of important defense, veteran and national security issues.
