Voxpilot launches pan-European VoiceXML VSP
voxBuilder enables fast and cost-efficient development and deployment of VoiceXML applications
Voxpilot has announced the launch of its pan-European VoiceXML development portal, offering a range of online tools and services for developers, including an online development environment, a VoiceXML gateway, VSP hosting and local access telephone numbers for voice application development and deployment in all major European markets. Interested developers can immediately use voxBuilder ODE by signing up at ode.voxpilot.com.
Voxpilots flagship product, voxBuilder, is a complete outsourced solution, enabling developers to design, build, test and deploy VoiceXML applications with a minimum of costs, time to market and resources. „We intend to be the deployment mode of choice for voice solutions in the European market", Dr Jonathan Alcantara, CEO of Voxpilot, indicates. „To achieve this, we reduce initial development and deployment costs, and remove on-site hardware installation from the equation wherever possible."
With voxBuilder, speech applications can be developed for free, tested and demonstrated via local access numbers throughout Europe, and smoothly deployed on Voxpilots state-of-the-art multilingual VoiceXML gateway. Deployed applications are made available to callers all over Europe via national, local, free-phone or premium-rate service numbers, ensuring pan-European market reach for enterprises competing in todays international business environment.
Voxpilots voxBuilder paves the way for endless opportunities in the fast-growing speech market, enabling voice-activated services such as voice portals, V-commerce solutions, unified messaging and directory assistance, as well as access to SMS and web content, from any telephone, anywhere in Europe. The hosted solution offers enterprises all the advantages of outsourcing -- rapid development and deployment, complete integration and interoperability with all existing infrastructure, flexibility and low up-front investment -- by removing the need for specialised hardware and software at their business premises. Yet, enterprises do not have to relinquish control over their applications and back-end data.
Voxpilot has partnered with industry leaders such as Nuance, KPNQwest, Scansoft, and Rhetorical to provide a best of breed multilingual solution for the European market. „We are very excited about bringing this innovative solution to the European voice market " underscored Gilles Meyer, the Managing Director at Voxpilots Dublin Headquarters. "With our voxBuilder VSP, we believe we are truly delivering on our mission for the European VoiceXML developer community: `Develop anywhere, deploy everywhere.' "
