Clare Nelson Joins RepeatWeb Advisory Board
Technology Industry Veteran and Business Consultant Brings Sales Expertise to RepeatWeb
AUSTIN, TX - 3/1/2002 - RepeatWeb, Inc. today announced the appointment of Clare Nelson to the companys advisory board.
Clare Nelson, president & CEO of ClearMark Consulting, has over 23 years of experience with both software and hardware in storage, networking, ERP, and Web application management. Before founding ClearMark in November 2001, Nelson served as vice president of OEM sales and business development for TeaLeaf Technology (an SAP spin-off). Nelson also served as director of global alliances in Dell Computer Corporations server and storage group. She held management and technical positions at Dazel/Hewlett-Packard, EMC2, Digital Equipment Corporation, CMC/Rockwell and ACC/Ericsson.
At Digital, Nelson was part of a team that initiated OEM thin-film head sales to disk drive manufacturers in Japan and South Korea, and grew head sales to Samsung Electronics alone to $8 million in less than two years. Nelsons storage experience also includes software and hardware product management positions at Digital and EMC2.
Nelson has a proven track record of igniting rapid revenue growth in software and hardware sales in the SAP market. At Dazel, she forged the SAP alliance as it drove sales to more than 50% of corporate revenue. As director of global alliances at Dell, Nelsons group grew Dells SAP R/3 NT market share from 0-14% in two years with 860 customers in over 50 countries. At TeaLeaf Technology, Nelsons team struck an OEM agreement with SAP AG and established alliance programs to sell in the SAP market.
Nelson received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Tufts University.
