One more nail in the coffin for RealNetworks.

EnterVision broadcasting ready to roll, first company to challenge the domain created by streaming media.

Los Angeles CA Thursday Feb. 25, 2002

EnterVision, Inc, company president and CEO, Herbert L. Becker announced today that the company has begun distribution of the advanced technology Internet broadcasting system called the EnterVision Professional Broadcaster.

EnterVision, Inc., headquartered in Los Angeles has created the proprietary software, covered by US and Canadian software copyright. The software is the next generation of media on the Internet.

The core of the EnterVision mechanism is it ability to convert individual frames of analog film into compressed, individual jpeg images, and sending them out at the rate of 30 frames per second, a speed considered the standard for comfortable viewing. Sound is also compressed and sent along with the video.

Much like "flip cards" where a stick figure appears to move, the individual jpeg images, flash before your eyes in any Java ready browser. They move at the same rate as those images on a television or movie theatre screen, thirty frames per second.

Since each jpeg is a complete recreation of the each frame on the analog film, you get a brilliant video without any buffering, net congestion or fragmentation.

No streaming technology can compare to the high quality of EnterVision Internet broadcasting.

The EnterVision Professional Broadcasting system is not licensed as a stand-alone software package; instead it is sold embedded on the finest server currently available.

Full details of the Entervision Exclusive Internet Broadcast Technology can be seen at. WWW.ENTERVISION.COM

A home version of the broadcaster, meant for simple peer-to-peer or limited broadcasting for up to 10 viewers, can be downloaded from www.cnet.com.
