Computer Economics, a Carlsbad, CA based research firm, ranked the SIRCAM worm as one of the most destructive viruses in 2001, with over 2.3 million infections and total damages of over $1 Billion. With new e-mail borne viruses and worms spreading almost daily, the need for a robust, proactive antivirus solution becomes an absolute necessity if companies want to protect the electronic assets and intellectual property that are essential in todays digital economy.
