VisionAIR Applications Will Allow Agency to Upgrade Dispatch System, Keep Pace with Technology

CASTLE HAYNE, NC -- March 6, 2002 -- VisionAIR, Inc., a respected leader of software and wireless solutions for the public safety industry, announced today that the Los Banos Police Department will deploy VisionAIRs Computer-Aided Dispatch (VisionCAD), Law Enforcement Records Management System (VisionRMS) and Paperless Reporting solution. The innovative applications, which operate on the Windows 2000 platform, are part of VisionAIRs fully integrated Public Safety Suite® of products.

With the implementation of VisionCAD, the Los Banos telecommunicators will be able to view vital data, including historical call data, configure screen features to meet agency-specific needs and effectively dispatch units from multiple departments. Dispatchers will also be able to associate call types with special instructions and pre-planned units, as well as run a variety of readily available reports. VisionRMS will enable the agency to successfully manage vital records and submit report incidents and arrests directly to the FBI and California crime information centers. Information from the VisionRMS master database (name, address, vehicle and property information) will be available to dispatchers through integration with VisionCAD.

VisionAIRs Paperless Reporting application will allow officers to immediately create reports in the station. Eventually, Paperless Reporting will be installed on laptops and enable officers to complete reports from their patrol cars. The Los Banos Police Department also plans to ultimately purchase VisionMOBILE, VisionAIRs wireless information solution. VisionMOBILE offers wireless access to a wide range of data and allows officers to run NCIC and database queries. VisionAIRs state-of-the-art mobile application is designed to integrate easily with VisionCAD, VisionRMS and Paperless Reporting.
