Introducing HistoryWalker, the community for history lovers
Introducing HistoryWalker,a a new web community for history lovers, where members can visit famous historical sites like the Acropolis in Athens, Forum Romanum in Rome, the Great Pyramids in Giza. The members live in the city of their choice with their own customizable homes.
Starting 7 PM EST, Saturday April 6th, a new web community with historical theme, HistoryWalker, is going to present their 3rd original drama written, directed and played by the members as a live event on the Java-based walkable map.
What makes HistoryWalker so unique among the numerous Internet communities is their carefully designed map. It has major historical cities, such as Athens, Rome, Waset (Egypt) and MachuPicchu for the members to explore the historical sites such as the Acropolis, the Forum Romanum, and the Great Pyramids, to feel the history and learn or just enjoy the environment with various degrees of interactivities. Members are asked to choose a city to live and there they create their customizable homes and gardens. Once their homes are set up, they start to live there, receiving mail or invite friends to chat or play games and quizzes.
HistoryWalker is a growing community. Other historical cities are being worked on and new features are being introduced often.
