Locals Fight Off Invasion of Sexiest Geeks Alive"!

Blazer Lazer Tag hosts the Beat the Geeks" Challenge on March 11th

Geeks, nerds, and dorks may love the new-found attention and appreciation for their talents symbolized by the Sexiest Geek Alive" contest, but that doesnt mean they want a so-called Geek Dream Team" invading their territory.

On March 11th, as part of the Sexiest Geek Alive" finals in Austin, local laser tag players will have the chance show the Sexiest Geek Alive finalists how its supposed to be done as they play high-tech laser tag in the largest laser tag arena in Texas.

Sponsored by Epic Systems (www.escorp.com), the Beat the Geeks Challenge runs from 9pm to 11pm at Blazer Lazer Tag located at 1701 W. Ben White Boulevard in South Austin. The first game starts at 9:30pm with the second game to follow at 10:30pm, giving local laser tag players two chances to humiliate the interlopers.

Not only is this a chance for local players to take aim at the 'sexy geeks invading their turf," says Blazer Lazer Tag Marketing Manager Kim Cook, but, its also a chance for techies to get together for a little networking and a lot of fun."

The games are free and open to teams of contestants or individuals who sign up online at the Blazer Lazer Tag site (www.blazerlazer.com). The games are limited to 40 players each game on a first come, first serve basis.

The Sexiest Geek Alive finalists will arrive at Blazer Laser at 8:30pm to meet the press and answer questions about the contest and the secret of their sex appeal.
