RESEAL Ltd Launches
Revolutionary resealable" products for the consumer beverage market
The following press release revises, corrects and supersedes the press release issued February 26, 2002.
February 27, 2002- Berlin, Germany
Advanced Technology Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: AVDI) announced that RESEAL Ltd, a 96% owned subsidiary of Advanced Technology Industries, Inc. (ATI") has commenced the first phase of launching its new line of patented, resealable beverage packaging products. The Company has commenced the manufacturing process of the first 10,000 resealable metal beverage cans and expects to deliver the first samples to major German breweries prior to the end of April 2002.
The Company is targeting the consumer beverage markets with major brewery and soft drink manufacturers with its innovative packaging technology. The beverage and food industry represents current annual market estimates of 400 billion beverage, food and general line cans.
The Company estimates initial sales contracts during the third quarter of 2002. The Company has spent the past several years developing and testing the resealable packaging to meet international and US industry standards and has spent over $2.3MM to date to get the products to the point of commercial launch. As ATI and RESEAL move forward with the product launch they are currently assembling an experienced management team from within the beverage industry.
RESEAL maintains patent ownership for beverage packaging products, the resealable aluminum beverage can (Star Can") and patents applied for the soft pak resealable beverage packaging system (Soft Pak Reseal").
