SingleParentsOnline.com is welcomed with open arms from its new virtual community.
SingleParentsOnline.com debuts with a splash, and touches the hearts and minds of fellow Single Parents. Newcomers welcome the addition of the Single Parent Photo Personals.
On February 24th, 2002, SingleParentsOnline.com http://singleparentsonline.com found its place in a virtual community with an audience of over 13 million Single Parents. The site received a warm welcome by Single Parents looking for alternatives to online dating as well a destination where their voices would be heard.
Created by a Single Dad who had been displaced in the Technology sector, he found himself, and his 5-year-old daughter with plenty of time, yet little community. Uncomfortable with the expectations and tone of commercial matchmaking sites, he was inspired to create a site that was more than a catalog of photos. The goal was to bring Single Parents together, and at the same time, provide a portal, or ``content wrapper'' for the myriad of information available to this audience.
``The response to the debut of the site, and opening of the Photo Personals on March 3rd, has been nothing less than inspiring'' says Tim Sweezey, principal of SingleParentsOnline.com, and a former Information Technology Director. Whether someone stops by to post an ad, view the boards, or read the articles, what makes this truly special is that we are here because each of us is blessed with the understanding of unconditional Love. I cant think of a better quality to share with others as a foundation for new friendships" he adds.
With a user-friendly format, Single Parents Online includes such features as:
· Photo Personals
· Discussion Boards
· Chat
· Custom Solo Parenting search engine.
· Daily and weekly featured sites, and articles.
· Headline News
· Sections devoted to Moms, Dads, and Our Kids
· Powered by a Single Parent" Community Ring.
``This isnt all about dating'' Tim Sweezey explains. ``Some of the most important friendships and connections we make are from those people that seem to just fall into our lives. We are simply contributing one more way in which this can happen''
