Danish Company Launching Digital:Convergence Europe" to Promote :CueCat and Key:Cat Print-to-Web Scanners to European Consumers

DALLAS, March 5, 2002 -- Digital:ConvergenceTM, the leader in precision Internet navigation services announced today that it has signed an agreement with the Copenhagen, Denmark-based N3 Group to market Digital:Convergences proprietary technology in Europe. The arrangement gives N3 Group European exclusivity in selling Digital:Convergences :CRQTM print-to-Web technology, and includes the distribution of :CueCatTM and Key:CatTM scanning devices. N3 Group will begin their efforts with the launch of Digital:Convergence Europe at the CeBIT trade show (Hall 005 stand C63), March 13 --20, in Hannover, Germany.

:CRQ technology eliminates the input of lengthy URLs and time-intensive Web navigation. It uses printed Cues" to empower manufacturers and publishers to enhance content for consumers. Cues, which look like product codes (e.g. UPC, ISBN, EAN) can be embedded in any print media and are read using either a :CueCat or mobile Key:Cat scanner. The Cues are then translated through :CRQ software, instantly linking a users browser to a related Web page. Additionally, the devices can read almost any product code, making it instantly interactive with the Internet.
