HandStory Releases HandStory Suite 2.0 with Web Clipping Service

Release of HandStory Suite 2.0 Fast and Easy Web Page Downloads to Palm OS Devices

Boston, Massachusetts - March 7, 2002 --

HandStory, a leading developer of mobile software and services for the Palm/Windows platform, today announced the immediate availability of version 2.0 of its award-winning information browser for the Palm OS, HandStory Suite.

The new version is HandStorys first to offer users the ability to download entire Web sites and automatically convert them for viewing on Palm OS devices. As part of the new release, HandStory also announced the launch of a new Web Clipping service that enables users to easily select popular, pre-qualified Web sites for downloading to their Palm OS-powered devices.

Given the recent decision by one of our competitors to severely limit PDA access to user-specified Web sites, Palm users are looking for an alternative to download and view their favorite sites on their handhelds," said J.C. Park, HandStorys director of development. With HandStory Suite 2.0, were giving our users the easiest, most powerful solution available for converting and viewing information from any Web site on their handhelds without needing wireless access."

With HandStory Suite 2.0, users can specify Web sites for automatic conversion by entering URLs directly into the software itself or by selecting from a list of pre-tested sites at www.handstory.com. For sites that dont maintain PDA-optimized versions, a small script file instructs HandStory Converter-the Windows component of the software-how to reformat the site for optimum readability on handheld devices.

Currently, conversion scripts are provided by HandStory for a wide variety of popular and useful sites. In the near future, HandStory will release a script editor that allows users to write their own scripts for converting Web sites not listed on HandStorys site. These scripts will be easily shareable, encouraging the development of an active community of HandStory Suite users. Sites that are already PDA-optimized or that use simple layouts do not require conversion scripts.

Also new in HandStory Suite 2.0 is the ability to convert Palm PDB documents to Windows text files. Other functions, including conversion of Windows text and images and viewers for memos, DOCs, e-books, and images, have been enhanced from earlier versions of the software.

HandStory Suite 2.0 is available for immediate purchase at online software retailers Handango.com and PalmGear.com. A 30-day trial version is also available for download at www.handstory.com.
