William Prosenik Joins Infortrend Corporation as New President

Infortrend today announced that William Prosenik has joined Infortrend Corporation as President reporting to Stone Lo, President of Infortrend Technology, Inc. the parent company for Infortrend Corporation.

The decision to bring Bill on-board was based on our commitment to the Americas and the need for a leader within the US to more closely oversee operations, sales and marketing, accounting and technical support, as well as expand relationships with our American customers," said Hollis Lee, Senior Vice President for Infortrend Technology, Inc.

Based out of Infortrends OEM Sales office in Santa Clara, California, Prosenik will split his time between the Santa Clara office and the Santa Rosa Headquarters also located in California.

Prosenik has more than 30 years of experience in the data storage industry, most recently as vice president of Worldwide Sales & Support for OEM Storage Subsystems at IBM. Prosenik was previously vice president of Worldwide Sales at Mylex, which was acquired by IBM in 1999. Prosenik helped lead the efforts to integrate Mylex into IBMs existing organization. During his seven years with IBM and Mylex, Prosenik helped grow sales from $40 million to more than $175 million in sales. Prior to this, Prosenik served as director of Toshiba America Information Systems disk products division for the central region, where he increased regional sales by 150 percent during his tenure. He has worked with a number of other companies such as Priam Corporation, Qume, Ampex and Syquest, spanning the gamut of storage-related technologies.
