Southern California Bicycle & Fitness Expo comes to Los Angeles Convention Center April 5-7th

The nations largest consumer bicycle & fitness expo, with fun rides for adults and children comes back to the Los Angeles Convention Center April 5-7th. Something fun for everyone, indoor test track, freestyle shows, trials demos and more. Hundreds of exhibitors.

Celebrate the sport and lifestyle of bicycling and fitness at the sixth annual Southern California Bicycle & Fitness Expo, returning to the Los Angeles Convention Center, Friday through Sunday, April 5-7, 2002. The largest and most successful consumer bicycle show in the nation, the Expo showcases everything related to cycling and fitness. Hundreds of exhibitors will be showing the latest in bicycles and accessories, fitness products, cycling fashions, bicycle vacation destination resorts and tours, and nutrition and energy foods and drinks.
   
The Southern California Bicycle & Fitness Expo will also feature two unique riding events. The third annual Washington Mutual Kids Ride, April 6, will use a closed course on the Convention Center grounds and adjacent streets that has been specially designed to maximize fun and safety for participants of all ages. The event is open to kids 12 and under, and is free to all participants. All finishers will receive a race number and special medal. Washington Mutual will provide $5 savings account vouchers redeemable at any Washington Mutual financial center.
   
Also returning for its fifth year on April 7 is the Volvo City of Angels Fun Ride, a 26-mile tour for all cycling and fitness levels. Beginning and ending at the Convention Center, the route takes riders through some of the most scenic areas of the city, including Olvera Street, Griffith Park and a finishing descent of Bunker Hill. Nearly 1,000 riders participated in last years event. All riders receive free admission to the Southern California Bicycle & Fitness Expo.
