Everhart brings to the position more than 25 years of technology management experience, from companies such as 3Com Corporation, Fujitsu PC Corporation and Apple Computer, Inc. First at Apple, Everhart introduced programs and processes, in his various VP and senior director positions over a nine-year period, which streamlined sales to consistently attain or exceed revenue goals in his divisions. Then at Fujitsu, as president and CEO, he started the companys U.S. presence and grew revenues to establish Fujitsu as a leader in the mobile computing market. Most recently, Everhart was the senior VP of worldwide sales and services for 3Com, where he led the sales organization to maximize worldwide opportunities and, despite a market downturn, gained market share in major channels.
