SIDEWINDER STRENGTHENS EUROPEAN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM

Sidewinder, the leading global provider of Extended Enterprise Optimisation (XEO) solutions --Real Time resource and fulfilment process optimisation for the time sensitive delivery of goods and services - today announced that Tom McGill and Martin Styles are to join the company as Business Development Managers for Europe.

Prior to joining Sidewinder, Tom has 18 years experience in the logistics industry, principally within the Express, Contract Logistics and Supply Chain Development sectors. In addition, Tom also worked at Exel Logistics as General Manager responsible for development of the Home Appliances and Electronics sectors, where he grew the business with a range of solution sets including European DCs, UK Home Delivery and Supply Chain engineering services. Prior to joining Exel, Tom worked for two of the leading companies in the Express Delivery market -- Lynx Express and TNT Express, where he fulfilled various regional management, sales management and account management roles.

Martin brings over 22 years of experience in the software industry working almost exclusively in Supply Chain and Logistics. Before joining Sidewinder Europe, Martin worked at Scio Solutions as Sales Manager and at Supply Chain Management / e-fulfilment specialists, IMI in a variety of management roles. At IMI, Martin developed business in Holland, France and Belgium as well as the UK and established partnerships with a number of leading European companies. Martin also spent over six years at F.M. services company UCC.
