4Diskclean Gold 3.0 for Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT/XP

Brazil - March 11th, 2002 - RSS Systems today announces
the release of new version of 4DiskClean Gold, a system utility that
helps users to manage hard disk space and efficacy, increasing the
amount of free space on drives, by deleting unneeded files including
temporary data,old backups, duplicated files and dll's, browser caches
and urls history, Windows list of the last ten open documents, recycle
bin files, etc. It displays, in graphics form, charts of disk
usage,large files and folders, making it easy to decide which files or
folders to delete to free up space. Also users can view and print disk
settings.

4Diskclean Gold does really fast searches and is very secure to use by
any level of user. A list of almost 1000 files that are vital files in
any Windows O.S had been set on the program, and these files won't ever
appear as a candidate file for deletion to user after scans, even if
it's duplicated on the system.

4Diskclean Gold was designed to have an easy to use interface.
Users can delete a file from disk, to recycle bin,or make also a zip
file of the deleted files. The junk files scan produces a list of
files for deletion, these lists can be customized by the user, that
pick what files he wants to delete or not by checking/uncheking it
(default is delete on the junk scan, not delete on duplicate scan).
The search criteria can be modified with a few mouse clicks.

Another strong point of 4Diskclean Gold is the duplicate search
algorithm, based on variant arrays that stores filename and size of
all files and compares them with all other files on the disk using a
smart allocation of memory for these arrays, that grows depending on
the number of files on disk. All files already searched and all
duplicate versions are eliminated in the process, and the array
position is marked to not be compared anymore.
The result of it is a tremendously fast search.

copied and reproduced on websites, magazines, cd-roms.

4Diskclean also have a lite version (2.0) with only the main search
function (only 973 kb size). Other RSS Systems utility is Password
