TIR ANNOUNCES MARKETING PARTNERSHIP WITH LUMILEDS LLC - TIR TO MARKET LUMILEDS CHIP STRIP PRODUCTS

Vancouver, Canada - TIR Systems Ltd., a leading specialty lighting technology company, announces a marketing partnership with Lumileds LLC for the marketing and sales support of Lumileds Chip Strip product line.

The new marketing partnership combines TIRs experience in marketing and supporting lighting products in the architectural and corporate identity markets along with Lumileds strength as the world leader in the manufacture of high-power LEDs.

The Chip Strip product is a valuable addition to TIRs suite of lighting systems solutions servicing the Companys markets as well as representing an expansion of its customer base. This agreement is a significant step in realizing TIRs strategy. The Chip Strip product fits perfectly with our marketing focus and continues to demonstrate our leadership in bringing SSL solutions to our markets," says Leonard Hordyk, President and CEO.

As part of this agreement, TIR assumes worldwide marketing responsibility (Australia and New Zealand excluded) for the Chip Strip product line, which will continue to be manufactured by Lumileds.
