Farbase Interactive Established Company Says No!" To Software Cloning

Announcing Farbase Interactive, a educational and software game developer and publisher. The company focuses on developing unique programs for the PC marketplace. Their newest title is a game that combines Basketball and Comic Superheroes.

LAS VEGAS, NV (PRWEB) March 10, 2002 -- Farbase Interactive, a developer of distinctive computer games and educational software, has been founded by a group of professional game and educational software developers. Farbase Interactive will focus on creating products that dont fit commercial publishers product models.

We established this site because were gamers and we got tired of seeing lots of Cloneware" on the store shelves." said Robert Herrick, VP of Development. When we talk about Software Cloning" or Cloneware", we are talking about the umpteen knockoffs of a successful software game. Dont get us wrong, were not against people making games, but since shelf space is limited, a lot of other games get rejected in favor of these titles."

We dont want people to think that we are against commercial software publishing," said Vic Lei, COO of Farbase Interactive," We are looking to continue establishing relationships with major publishing houses. It would be great if a major publisher would be willing to bring our products to the public. Thats what we are all about, giving the consumer an opportunity to play some unique software."

Farbase Interactive will concentrate on creating games and educational software for the PC. The Monkey Talk" line of educational software is designed to help younger children learn a foreign language. Monkey Talk" teaches vocabulary and language building basics in Spanish, French, German and Italian. Farbase Interactive has just released its new sports title Superhero Sports: Basketball". The game combines a one-on-one basketball game with comic book superheroes.

Farbase Interactives employees have over 20 years experience in the software industry and have worked on over 50 commercial titles. For more information on Farbase Interactive, visit www.farbase.com
