RAELIAN BISHOP INVITED TO DEFEND HUMAN CLONING AT UAH CONFERENCE
Dr. Brigitte Boisselier, a Raelian bishop and president of CLONAID, the first human cloning company (www.clonaid.com), is one of the three panelists invited to discuss the issues of human reproductive and therapeutic cloning at a public conference organized by the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 14, from 7 to 9 PM, in the Chan Auditorium, UAH Administrative Science building.
Dr. Boisselier and Raël, spiritual leader of the Raelian Movement (www.rael.org) and founder of Clonaid, were both invited to testify before the U.S. Congress in March 2001, where they explained why they support human cloning and freedom of science in general. Last August, Dr. Brigitte Boisselier was also invited to testify at the National Academy of Sciences where she discussed her human cloning research projects.
Both the Raelian Movement and Clonaid have been regularly the focus of world and national U.S. media attention, with coverage by CNN, 60 Minutes, 20/20, Good Morning America, the NY Times, USA today, etc. in the past year alone.
