Netcentric Appoints Non-Executive Chairman and Technical Director to the Board

New Board Appointments
Dominic Suddaby - With 36 years of successful sales & marketing experience, Dominic has a wealth of business expertise to offer. In 1966 he joined Autolease as a Sales Executive and within 5 years he was promoted to Managing Director. In 1973 Dominic joined the US leading vehicle fleet management company PHH to set up its European and world-wide operations. As Managing Director of PHH Services Ltd and PHH Leasing Ltd, he negotiated the purchase of All Star Fuel Cards and started PHH Homequity in the UK. In 1986 Dominic joined ExFinCo Ltd, an export finance company. Whilst at ExFinCo Dominic grew sales to 375m per annum. From 1990 to 1996 he specialised in rescuing fleet motor management companies and increasing their sales activities. Dominics role will be to advise on the companys strategic objectives.
Dr. Andrew Douglas - After achieving a First Class Honours degree (BSc) in Computer Science at Staffordshire University, Andrew went onto a teaching position at the University of Kent and was awarded a PhD. From 1994 to 1999 Andrew worked as a research scientist for the University of York and Permission IT Inc. In 1999 Andrew joined Netcentric Systems Plc as the Technical Architect responsible for creating the framework, defining the core functionality and methodology by which Lychee, a web Content Management System would be built. Andrew project managed the technical architect and server specialist teams during the product development stage before being promoted to Development Director. Andrew is an expert in Java and Distributed Systems and the XML family of standards. He is an experienced software engineer, specialising in Object Oriented Development, with an interest in UML, Design Patterns and the practice of Software Engineering. Andrew is also a Member of the British Computer Society and a Chartered Engineer. Having been involved with Lychee from its inception, Andrew will advise on software development related matters, assist with the product enhancement program and technical strategy for the future.
