Announcing A Revolution in Urban Music Promotion

The world's first subscription club for urban music and music business products. Get a package of urban music delivered to your door monthly.

(PRWEB) March 12, 2002 - The launch of Mega Music Club:Urban (www.MMCurban.com) marks a true innovation in the way record labels can reach an urban audience, and the most direct way consumers can access their music -- before anyone else. Mega Music Club:Urban is a first-of-its-kind subscription service that delivers a package of urban music to consumers on a monthly basis. Included in the package are promo items such as CD singles, albums, stickers, t-shirts, videos and other special edition items. The club also delivers strategies for breaking into the music business and advice in the form of interviews via a monthly audio series, book, newsletter and magazines. According to Latin Prince, National Director of Mix Show Promotions for MCA Records, Mega Music Club is one of the most creative and innovative clubs in the music business. They cater to the ultimate urban music lover."

Subscribers can choose from three levels of membership. The most basic level, dubbed the Gold Level Package" contains music promo items culled from more than 15 record labels, including Universal, Arista, MCA, Elektra, Loud, Interscope and many more. The Platinum Level Package" combines the promo music items with Mega Music Club:Urban CEO Eric Klines acclaimed book and 2-CD set Inside The Music Business: The Power Players. This insightful book features 40 interviews with industry insiders -- artists, managers and execs including Russell Simmons, Ice Cube, Boyz II Men and others. Coupled with this, Platinum Level members will also receive a free subscription to Eric Klines Inside The Music Business: The Monthly Audio Series. Each month, a new CD will feature an in-depth interview with an industry player, providing vital insight for anyone looking to break into the music business.

Finally, the Diamond Level Package" adds to the other levels of membership a sampling of music magazines, such as Hits, CVC Report, Music Biz Magazine, Vibe and the Source. In addition, Diamond Level members will also receive the MMC monthly newsletter and will be automatically entered to win monthly prizes ranging from NBA tickets to trips, concerts and more.

Mega Music Club:Urban gives fans a chance to hear new music first," says Justin Tyme" Prager, MTV, Director of Music Programming and Talent, while giving them insight into how the music business really works."
