Exmouth, UK -- March 11, 2002 -- RewiredMind.com, the new website for UK based console gamers, today opened its doors to the public.
RewiredMind.com covers all of the major console formats and is staffed by the lovely chaps that ran the major UK Dreamcast site DCGuide.co.uk, which closed early last year due to the sad demise of the machine.
Our aim is simple," said Ken Barnes, Editor of RewiredMind. We would like to provide the latest news, reviews and opinions in gaming to the massive base of UK console games players."
"There are thousands of sites on the Internet that cater for gamers, with more opening up each day. We aim to be one of the first that gives them what they want without any 'subscription fees, interstitial advertisements or other type of irrelevant junk."
In addition to the latest news and reviews, the site will provide: -
· A buzzing community for its visitors.
· Accurate vertical search facilities in each major section.
· An archive of all published news and reviews from the time of launch.
· Up to date sales, preorder and hardware charts from the three major territories.
· Moreover, in yet another unprecedented burst of honesty, a clear, easy to follow reviews policy with no jargon.
· From April 2002, a monthly Game of the Month" award, with the winners chosen by our visitors. These will be accompanied by our annual awards.
· HeadWire" -- a weekly newsletter containing a round-up of the weeks news and selected reviews, as well as a summary of the weeks most interesting" conversations in the RewiredMind Forums.
