Forrester Research Names Visibillity, Inc. in 2002 Insurance Technology Predictions

Forrester Brief Predicts that Property & Casualty Carriers will Look to Companies like Visibillity to Drive Down Turnaround Times and Costs for Claims

Chicago, IL, March 12, 2002 -- Visibillity, Inc., the leading collaborative litigation management solution provider for the Property & Casualty insurance industry, announced today that Forrester Research, an industry-leading analyst, research, and consulting firm, has recognized Visibillity in its Forresters 2002 Insurance Technology Predictions.

According to the Forrester brief:

•   Both life and auto insurers will use technology intermediaries to drive sales through new channels and provide higher levels of service to their customers."

•   Property-casualty insurers will outsource claims processing."

•   To drive down turnaround times and costs for claims, The Hartford and SAFECO will look to online claims intermediaries like Mitchell International, eAutoClaims.com and Visibillity."

•   Why? These firms can:
1)   monitor large networks of claims suppliers, practically in real time, and
2)   systematically collect data about best practices."

Faiz Ahmed, Visibillity CEO, comments, Visibillity values this recognition from such a well-respected organization as Forrester Research, especially in the context of their 2002 Insurance Technology Predictions. Ive worked on both sides of the litigation management issue; first as a litigator with a large insurance defense law firm and then with a specialty insurer. Through this experience, it became painfully evident to me that insurers could drastically improve outcomes while reducing litigation costs, if only they were able to work in a collaborative and pro-active relationship with panel counsel."

Mr. Ahmed continues, Visibillity was founded with the objective of providing the insurance industry with a truly collaborative claims litigation management capability that would improve litigation outcomes, reduce legal fees, and provide carriers with invaluable data and analytical tools for better management of their lines of business. Forresters acknowledgement of Visibillity confirms to me that we are right on target and that the insurance industry is poised to take advantage of our solution to improve claims litigation outcome expenses and services."
