Tradeware, a leading provider of trading automation solutions to the financial community today announced the appointment of two senior executives to head up the companys newly established global commercial operations in London. Gordon Bloor joins as Director of Sales from Thomson Financial and Mark Thornberry as Director for Business Development and Marketing. Mark recently left Trading Technologies where he was UK Managing Director. In addition, the Sales team has been boosted by the arrival of Anne Onder de Linden and Bob Humphreys from Thomson Financial who are responsible for Benelux and UK sales respectively and Thorsten Quakernack from I/B/E/S as Sales Manager for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The team is further complemented by Colette Selfslagh who joins as Marketing Manager from Cognotec.
I strongly believe that the addition of professionals with well established market, client and product expertise will help Tradeware become the pre-eminent provider of order routing and market connectivity to both the buy side and sell side" commented Eric Janssen, the companys CEO. This will give us further impetus to expand the business from its traditional continental European base", he added.
