Workhouse Publicity to produce Rosie Perez Poetry event on Broadway (NYC)!

Workhouse Publicity leads "Love Letters to America" campaign and event to aid Working Playground at the American Airlines Arena.

NEW YORK- Workhouse Publicity cordially invites you to Working Playground's annual Poetry Event on Broadway! Hosted by Rosie Perez the event honors the contributions of Mary Kay and John Strangfeld, Prudential Securities. A celebration of America the evening will take place on Monday, April 22nd, 2002 at 6:30pm at the 42nd Street American Airlines Theatre located at 227 West 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenue.

Entitled "Love Letters to America", participants include accomplished actors such as Aidan Quinn, Edie Falco, Marisa Tomei, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robert Klein, Ananda Lewis, Anne Meara, Jared Harris, Fisher Stevens, and Jerry Stiller who will read student poetry and quintessential American artists and designers such as William Wegman, Donna Karan, Betsey Johnson, Peter Max, Emme and Kenneth Cole who have created versions of the American Flag which are to be auctioned.

Tickets cost $200 and will benefit the non-profit cultural organization Working Playground and their arts education programs for children and schools including those directly affected by the events of September 11th.
