Norristown, PA -- March 14, 2002
Vertical Alliance today announced it has launched the first phase of FanTracker, a Web-based, CRM-enabled ticketing solution, at Michigan International Speedway, which is owned by International Speedway Corporation (ISC"). The Michigan track, located outside Detroit, is the first of 12 ISC facilities scheduled to implement the Vertical Alliance solution. ISC is the nations largest promoter of motorsports events, and has one of the largest ticketing operations in the United States. Additional information about ISC is available at http://www.iscmotorsports.com.
FanTracker helps streamline ticket operations, gain more knowledge about fans, and increase revenue and profitability," said Robert Cooper, Chief Executive Officer of Vertical Alliance. FanTracker is a clear alternative for sports teams, leagues, venues, and college sports programs that want to take control of the ticketing process and their relationship with their fans and patrons. Up until now, other ticketing companies and resellers have believed that those fans were their customers. The launch of FanTracker at an ISC facility is a major validation of our solution."
Fan Tracker enables organizations to sell tickets to multiple venues through any distribution channel including box office, call center, Web, email and others, while maintaining a comprehensive view of each fan, regardless of the channel of interaction. This valuable information allows companies to implement strategic marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives while adding great value to fans. Since FanTracker is entirely Web-based, the customer data, sales reports, and inventory information generated by FanTracker is accessible from any remote location and efficiently managed from a central, corporate level.
The implementation of FanTracker at the ISC tracks is the second stage of the relationship between ISC and Vertical Alliance. In late 2000, ISC re-launched its family of 17 Web sites using the Vertical Tracker Web-based platform. Since that time, ISC has seen significant increases in site traffic and online sales due to the efficiency of Vertical Tracker, and has developed a greater knowledge of who their fans are and what they want.
