Preserve Cherished Tape, Video, and LP Recordings to CD
With PolderbitS Sound Recorder and Editor

HOLLAND - March 14, 2002 -- In todays world, CDs and CD players are the norm and old cassette tapes and vinyl records are relegated to boxes down in the basement, or even thrown away. PolderbitS Sound Recorder and Editor can convert those cherished music and audio memories into digital MP3 or WAV files so they can be preserved onto CD. These digital audio files can then also be transferred and listened to on an MP3 player or saved and played from a PC.

Just as its' name says, the Sound Recorder and Editor is designed for additional recording and editing tasks such as converting MP3 files to WAV format, or converting WAV files back to MP3. The software can split recordings into multiple tracks, edit track length and even fade recordings in and out. PolderbitS Sound Recorder and Editor features a simple, easy-to-use interface designed for novice users, yet it includes features that make it suitable for professionals.

"The Sound Recorder and Editor was initially developed 2 years ago in response to the problems family and friends were having putting their music collections on CD using their new multimedia PCs", says Rudy Kok, president of PolderbitS software, We then created a simple, easy to use software program without a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles. Over time it has evolved into a tool that today is used by both novice as well as professional audio enthusiasts."

The release of version 2.0 features MP3 support, a selection of recording sound quality options, additional control over track naming and numbering, the ability to reset a new recording, and numerous other important enhancements.

A fully functional 2-week free trial version of PolderbitS is available for download at: http://www.polderbits.com The software is also available for purchase at http://www.polderbits.com The $12.00 (USD) price includes free product upgrades and technical support.
