Inventronics Appoints Respected Marketing Executive to IVT Board Marketing Specialist Will Complement IVTs Diversification Drive

A widely recognized marketing specialist has joined the board of Inventronics Limited, a custom metal enclosures manufacturer with operations in North America and the United Kingdom, to help IVT continue to execute a market diversification program to reduce the company's traditional dependence on the telecommunications market.

Calgary, Alberta -- Mar. 13, 2002 -- Inventronics Limited (IVT:TSE), a designer and manufacturer of custom enclosures for the communications, electronics and other industries in North America and the United Kingdom, today announced the appointment of Mr. Alan R. Wiggan to its board of directors.

Mr Wiggan is a marketing specialist with more than 25 years of entrepreneurial experience at the helm of two nationally recognized marketing and communications companies, Hayhurst Communications and Parallel Strategies. As President and Senior Partner of these firms, Mr. Wiggan guided them through extremely profitable growth and orderly succession.

Earlier this month, Inventronics announced an agreement with a new U.S. customer that is expected to generate $8 million of additional annual sales. The customer, which has not been identified for competitive reasons, is from one of five industries -- cable television, electronic controls, electric utilities, energy resources and computer servers -- that Inventronics has begun targeting to attract additional customers outside the telecommunications sector.
