During the National Manufacturing Week in Chicago, Duraswitch will perform sales representative training sessions and host meet-and-greet hours with potential licensees and OEMs interested in Duraswitch technologies.

(PRWEB) March 16, 2002 --In conjunction with the annual National Manufacturing Week" show in Chicago, March 18 -- 21, Duraswitch (Nasdaq: DSWT) will meet with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), perform sales representative training sessions and host meet-and-greet hours with potential licensees and OEMs interested in Duraswitch technologies. The meetings will be held in a private suite at the Hyatt Regency adjoining the show facilities at McCormick Place. Additionally, four Duraswitch licensees will attend the show: ECI Screen Print (booth 7339); Happ Controls, Inc. (booth 8630); Tastitalia SpA (booth 9064); and Wilson-Hurd Manufacturing Co. (booth 9246).

While in Chicago, Duraswitch will debut advancements to its thiNcoder RT rotor product line and high-impact PushGate pushbutton constructions to licensees, switch manufacturers and OEMs.

The thiNcoder RT offers designers the only rotary encoder, which can be mounted on a flex circuit. This offers a multitude of benefits including lower costs, thinner design, and more design flexibility.

The high-impact PushGate construction is suited for applications in which there is a high probability for vandalism, such as unattended keyboards at self-service gas stations or kiosks.
