BookZone To Give Away Tickets To "The Producers" In Drawings At PMAU And BookExpo America 2002 Events In New York City

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Talk about hot seats! BookZone, Inc. is giving away 10 free tickets to Broadway's hottest smash hit "The Producers" during back-to-back book publishing shows in New York City. The five pairs of theater tickets will be given away by BookZone at the Publishers Marketing Association Publishing University and BookExpo America events, April 30 - May 5. The tickets will be awarded in drawings at BookZone's exhibit booths at both of the popular annual publishing events (the first pair of tickets - to the April 30th performance - will be drawn April 15 from online entries at BookZone's Web site).

"The idea for the tickets giveaway occurred to us during last year's Chicago BEA trade show," says BookZone Marketing Director Skip Treaster. "When we'd started discussing the 2002 event in New York, we almost immediately thought of the Broadway hit show, 'The Producers.' As soon as we realized how difficult tickets were to come by, we quickly purchased five pairs of tickets, one pair for each night of the trade shows."

"The musical has won a record 12 Tony Awards," adds Mary Westheimer, CEO of BookZone. "We wanted to align ourselves with a winner, and 'The Producers' couldn't have been a better choice. We like to think of BookZone as 'top producers' - and the 'winning ticket' to increased book sales for our clients. Giving away tickets to this show seemed like such a natural choice, and a way to show our appreciation to the publishing community."

As the Internet's oldest and largest publishing community, BookZone has been committed to advancing publishing for nearly eight years through innovative Web site development and design, hosting, promotion, and ePublishing. More than 17 million people now visit the BookZone.com community each year for publishing support and news and to browse the site's unique collection of books, eBooks, audiobooks, CDs and accessories in its online bookstore, BookZone MarketPlace.

The drawing for "The Producers" tickets is open to attendees and exhibitors of the 2002 PMAU/BEA trade shows in New York City. Like most drawings, it is void where prohibited, taxed or restricted. The complete Official Rules are posted on BookZone's Web site at http://www.bookzone.com (click on "Show Time!" on the homepage) and persons attending the first day of the PMAU event, April 30, will also find an Online Entry Form to register early for that day's tickets.
