Local rights activist group celebrates first anniversary.

The American Rights Movement, a group dedicated to helping facilitate Americans in the Battle to Preserve, Protect, and Defend their rights, celebrates it's one year anniversary.

ELMHURST, ILL.-April, One year ago , The American Rights Movement was created in the back room of the Elmhurst Citizen's Advocacy Center. It's members felt the need for solidarity in the battle to preserve and re-establish the free exercise of our God-given rights.

Since then, the organization has been very successful. It has secured its own office complex where it meets and regularly hosts seminars as well as conducts "classes" on a variety of subjects. The complex also houses a growing law library.

The American Rights Movement has had several local news networks cover speeches given by experts knowledgeable on the attempted Rolando Cruz assassination and false imprisonment cover-up.

Future plans include, the addition of a speech club, weekly movie viewing/discussion group, as well as an expanded seminar schedule and networking with similar activist groups.

The American Rights Movement mission statement:

To develop and implement positive action strategies to seize back liberty through education, training, and the networking of like minds in the community. To use radio, television, the internet, seminars, distance learning courses, books, CDs, audio and video tapes to accomplish this. To develop and operate an American patriotic resource center as a site for video, audio taping, bookstore/lending library, meetings, seminar and study area.

Our core belief system:

Part One:

Our core belief system echoes that of the founding fathers as expressed in the first two paragraphs of the Unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America." Specifically that there are the Laws of Nature and Natures God." Furthermore, That all Men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed."

Part Two:

We believe that Liberty is the standard and that per the Preamble, the Constitution for the united States of America exists to ...secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity..." and that the Constitution of the United States of America was created to define and limit the government Not We the People!

Part Three:

We do NOT advocate violence except in cases of self-defense or defense of others. The shedding of innocent blood is abhorrent to us and Natures God!" (Proverbs 6:17; Leviticus 20:1-5 )
