3D Grapher - Handy Graphing Software for Students and Engineers

Our company, RomanLab Software, would like to announce the release of the new version of our graphing software 3D Grapher.

March 2002 - RomanLab Software, the developer of technical calculation and graphing software for business and academia, has announced this month the availability of 3D Grapher 1.2 for Windows - an award-winning tool that allows users to create and manipulate 2D and 3D graphs. 3D Grapher is small, fast and reliable, and offers much of the functionality of heavyweight data analysis and graphing software packages for a small fraction of their cost.

"3D Grapher is a great program for people who don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a professional package," says a reviewer at TuCows software archive. "It comes equipped with all necessary tools for designing and manipulating professional graphs and models. With OpenGL graphics support for animation, you can have your designs up and running in no time." 3D Grapher is extremely easy to learn and very flexible. The intuitive interface is a major strong point of the application - you can just play with the program for several minutes to figure out how it works.

3D Grapher provides for three systems of coordinates: Cartesian, cylindrical and spherical. Graphs can be generated from table data or from manually entered equations. You can specify the unlimited number of equations and tables, and their graphs will be plotted in one coordinate system using different colors and lighting conditions. This way you can visualize and analyze the domains and intercepts of several functions.

Functions can be parametric, and can include a time variable - this feature allows creation of animated models. You can easily rotate the graphs with the mouse, zoom them and view at any angle. Other features include the built-in expression calculator, mouse cursor coordinate tracking and the fully customizable interface. You can also copy the presentation-quality graphs from the program's window and paste them into your own documents.

Version 1.2 of the program offers a redesigned user interface for highly efficient workflow, the ability to import and export data in several popular file formats and several minor improvements.
