IEMCA-GIULIANI NEW BRANCH

On February 1st, 2002 IEMCA GIULIANI Group was proud to announce the opening of its new Chinese branch. Through IGM of China the group is going to target the market sector trying to acheive international production quality standards.

February 1st 2002 marked the opening of activities for IGM (IEMCA GIUNLIANI Machines) of China, located in Shanghai. This new venture will be in charge of marketing and assistance services for IEMCA bar feeders and GIULIANI machines on the Chinese market. The new branch will be supervised by Sales Manager Richard Sha, who has long collaborated with IEMCA-GIULIANI Group.

The IGMI group boasts solid relations with China; the country's recent entry into the WTO and forecasts that in the near future as much as 35-40% of world production of material goods will be concentrated in China convinced the group to take further steps towards consolidating its presence. China is expected to develop enormous potential in coming years in consumer electro-mechanical products as well as in the automobile industry, which is poised to become the driving force for the Chinese economy.

China is already the fifth-largest importer of Italian machine tools; with an annual growth rate of 47.8% (2001/2000), the country is destined to become a major buyer market for the industry. IGMI intends to target the market sector made up of Chinese enterprises aspiring to international production quality standards.
