Atlanta, GA - March 18, 2002 -- The Baer Group announces that Lanier Healthcare, a company that offers document applications to help health care professionals create and manage mission-critical health information, has gone live with mySAP.

Implementing the comprehensive e-business platform provides Lanier Healthcare with a comprehensive suite of integrated solutions including Financials, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Workplace Portal and Business Warehouse. The implementation was completed on time and within budget.

The successful implementation plays a vital role in Lanier Healthcares business. Acquired in December 2000 by Platinum Equity, Lanier Healthcare required an implementation that would seamlessly transition its customers from its legacy system to its new mySAP system. As a result of the spin-off from its former parent, Lanier Healthcare needed to replace its entire application infrastructure in six months. Not only did the application infrastructure change, so did the business model as it improved its operations during the course of the implementation. A new warehouse, repair depot strategy and call center were all put in place during the system implementation timeframe. Nevertheless, on the first day of the go live, customer orders were shipped and invoiced and vendor checks were produced.
