Critically acclaimed power pop artist, Kenny Howes, will be performing with his new lineup, The Kenny Howes Quartet, on Mar. 23 in Atlanta, GA. Kenny Howes was just named Band of the Month by SLABMusic.com and featured as Band of the Week on XM Satellite Radio.
Kenny Howes returns to Virginia Highlands 10 High Club with The Kenny Howes Quartet on Saturday, March 23 at 11 PM. The band will be performing with Loud American Tourists and Mango. Admission is $6.00. The 10 High Club (formerly known as the Dark Horse) is located at 816 N. Highland Avenue in Atlanta.
For this show Howes has dropped the new" moniker and shortened the band name to The Kenny Howes Quartet. For each show with his new lineup Howes has used a different name for his band. Howes says that he is not trying to cause confusion, but hasnt yet decided on the final name for his new band.

Kenny Howes has released five CDs of his own material, "nothing wrong with that" (1995), "Kenny Howes' Second Album" (1996), and "Back To You Today!" (1998), the compilation "The Right Idea" (2000) and "Kenny Howes and the Yeah!" (2002).
He has shared the stage with such artists as The Smithereens, Cheap Trick, Alex Chilton, Marshall Crenshaw, Jonathon Richman, Glenn Tilbrook and numerous others. He has been featured for three years at the Atlantis Music Conference in Atlanta and twice at the annual International Pop Overthrow festival in Los Angeles. He also performed at the 2001 Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta, a 3-day festival that draws over 300,000 music fans.
