TI AUTOMOTIVE SELECTED FOR MAJOR OEM CONTRACTS

TI Automotive has received supply contracts for fuel storage-and-delivery systems and brake lines from five major auto manufacturers worth nearly $500 million over the lifetime of the awards.

TI AUTOMOTIVE SELECTED FOR MAJOR OEM CONTRACTS

   WARREN, MI -- TI Automotive has received supply contracts for fuel storage-and-delivery systems and brake lines from five major auto manufacturers worth nearly $500 million over the lifetime of the awards.

   The contracts are from General Motors, Toyota, MG Rover, Peugeot and Nissan according to William J. Laule, TI Automotives chief executive officer.

·   Peugeot has awarded TI Automotive a contract to supply rigid underbody brake lines, with production beginning in 2003 at TIs plant in Nazelles, France.

·   General Motors has contracted TI Automotive for fuel tank systems for several truck and SUV models. The fully integrated tank assemblies will be produced in Ossian, IN. beginning in 2004.

·   Nissan has chosen TI Automotive to provide complete fuel tank systems for several vehicles, starting in the 2005 model year.

·   Toyota has selected TI Automotive to provide mono-layer fluorinated filler pipes for vehicles produced in its plant in Turkey, beginning in 2004.

·   MG Rover has chosen TI Automotive to supply rigid brake-lines for several future models. Production is scheduled to begin in 2004 at TIs manufacturing plant in Telford, England.
