Technical Solutions Inc. today announced that its low-cost, high-performance Medallion line of computer modules has been named the Product of the Month by M-Systems.

DELTA, BC, Mar. 21, 2002 -- Technical Solutions Inc. today announced that its low-cost, high-performance Medallion line of computer modules has been named the Product of the Month by M-Systems.

   The Medallion CPU module encapsulates all the essential pieces common to all embedded devices: a low-power CPU with RAM and local storage. The Medallion CPU module, allows designers to dramatically shorten the amount of time spent on hardware development by eliminating the integration of all the different hardware pieces, timing issues, and porting an OS to the hardware since the Medallion comes pre-loaded with the Linux OS.
The module, complete with USB host and device ports, occupies an extremely small footprint of only 2-inches by 2-inches. In addition, Techsol preloads the core software needed to support various applications, including a boot-loader and debugger, the Linux operating system, and drivers for all the peripherals.
