Kshema Opens R&D Center for Bioinformatics

Bangalore, Tuesday, March 19, 2002 -- Bangalore based Kshema Technologies accelerates its foray into the happening Bioinformatics industry with the opening of R&D centre to initiate and identify opportunities for creative development of Bioinformatics solutions.

The R&D Centre located at kshema dhama was formally inaugurated on Tuesday morning by Dr. Andrew Boorn, CEO & President, of Canada-based MDS Sciex. Kshema and MDS Sciex have also jointly sponsored a Chair Professorship at a leading Technological Institute at Bangalore to carry forward studies in Bioinformatics.

Kshema enjoys an early bird status in bioinformatics and has been able to develop its pool of scientists -- biotechnologists, mathematicians, microbiologists, and technical resources. The company has built resources for Research & Development activities through internal sources and by enrolling experts on its panel of consultants.
