Network Storage 2002 to host Network Storage Awards Program
Peripheral Concepts and InfoStor Magazine announced today that they have
launched the Network Storage Award Program. Making its debut at the
upcoming Network Storage 2002 Conference in June, the award program is
designed to recognize outstanding achievement in storage networking.
SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 25, 2002 -- Peripheral Concepts and InfoStor
Magazine announced today that they have launched the Network Storage Award
Program. Peripheral Concepts is the promoter of Network Storage 2002, to be
held on June 17 - 20, 2002, at the Marriott Hotel in Santa Clara, CA.
Making its debut at the upcoming Network Storage 2002 Conference in June,
the award program is designed to recognize outstanding achievement in
storage networking. The storage networking industry is evolving so quickly
that technological innovations are continually being made," comments Farid
Neema, president of Peripheral Concepts. The Network Storage Award
Program was created to recognize the outstanding achievements made by
pioneering companies within the network storage industry."
The awards program includes four categories: 1) complete storage systems;
2) management software; 3) interconnect products (switches, hubs, adapters,
routers, etc., and 4) innovative products.
Any company, whether exhibiting or not, with a product that is in general
availability with at least two users (available for interview), and is related to
storage networking, may submit it for consideration. Companies are to include
a one or two-page description of the features, a comparison with similar
existing products and the specific reasons why the product deserves
recognition. All submissions should be sent to awards@periconcepts.com.
The final submission date is April 15, 2002, with the finalists being chosen
on June 1. The finalists must be available at the conference. The winners will
be announced during lunch on June 19, 2002 at the Network Storage 2002
Conference.
