New SearchCertify Site is Portal to IT Certification Resources

SearchCertify.com lets users find, rate the best and worst certification resources on the Web.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC- Anventure, operator of the popular computer certification Web site GoCertify.com, has launched a specialized search portal focused on IT certification.

The new site, SearchCertify.com, provides a searchable directory of Web sites that offer certification information, instructor-led training, self-study material, practice exams, and other resources related to computer certification. SearchCertify collects, organizes, and serves up links to these sites, which users can rate and review if they wish to do so.

Now that there are hundreds of certification-focused sites on the Web, the time is ripe for a specialized search portal like SearchCertify," says Anne Martinez, president of Anventure. While GoCertify.com provides detailed information and articles on individual certifications, SearchCertify is intended to serve as the largest collection of certification-focused links online," says Martinez.

SearchCertify combines the directory style of Yahoo! with the search engine access style of Google, for a certification specific audience. Using the SearchCertify directory, users can drill down to specific certification vendors, specific certifications, or even instructor-led training for a specific certification. Or, they can simply search on specific terms and receive a list of qualifying links.

SearchCertify, which already includes hundreds of links, is expected to grow rapidly as the certification marketplace continues to expand. Although membership is not required in order to use the search tools, registered users are able to rate sites, add reviews, and receive a free certification newsletter twice a month.
