COPPELL, TX (March 27, 2002)--Mannatech, Inc. (NASDAQ -MTEX) is represented in the
Equity Investors 26-Week Micro-Cap Review in the current issue of Business Week magazine. Mannatechs selection was based on its placement in the top 10% of approximately 3,700 domestic companies with market capitalizations under $200 million.
Companies were rated in terms of share price performance for the 26-week period ending
December 31, 2001. The average share price gain of the 26 micro-cap firms profiled rose 112% for the 26-week period in contrast to a 5% drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, a 6% drop in the S&P 500, and a 10% drop in the NASDAQ Composite Index for the same period.
