The Bali Challenge - 44 nights free in Bali's best hotels, but is anyone man / woman enough?

The Bali & Lombok Travel Forum is laying down a challenge - to find the best 22 hotels (for US$50 per night or less) in Bali within 44 days! The chosen party (person or couple) will be provided with a rental car by which to circumnavigate the "Island of the Gods" over these 6 and a bit weeks. Looking at many, but staying only in the best hotels for 2 nights each, starting the middle of May 2002.

The travel forum and their sponsor, The Bali Hotels & Accommodations Company will pay for all of the hotel stays and the car rental too. "All" the Challenge Taker has to do, is fine the best hotels and then let the world know which they are!

This will require a dedicated individual or couple, as Bali is a hot, even very hot, tropical island with slow moving roads. 2 nights per hotel is just enough time to get a feel for each area, take in a show / dance performance, and get the laundry done! Keeping fit, hydrated and away from excesses will not be easy. Nor will taking 44 days off! But for the lucky person(s), with a keen eye for a bargain, quality and culture, this will be a challenge too hard to resist!
