Mikohn Gaming Corporation Reschedules its Fourth Quarter 2001 Conference Call to Monday, April 1st In View of Holidays

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, March 27, 2002 - Mikohn Gaming Corporation (Nasdaq-NM: MIKN) today announced that it has rescheduled its year-end conference call previously planned for 4:30 p.m. Eastern this afternoon to Monday, April 1st at 11 a.m. Eastern (8 a.m. Pacific). The year-end press release will be issued prior to the markets opening on Monday.

In view of the Passover-Good Friday holiday period the company believes the schedule change will facilitate greater visibility and allow more of its investors to participate in the conference call. On the call, David J. Thompson, chairman and chief executive officer, and Don W. Stevens, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will review the financial results and provide an overview of the companys operations.
