GETCYCED!FITNESS TO HOLD GRAND OPENING EVENT
American Heart Association to recognize gym's focus on health & safety for members
GetCYCED!FItness will host a free Open House Weekend on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6, 2002.
Sunrise, FL/-- The best-kept secret in West Broward is out! GetCYCED!Fitness, the new high-energy fitness club in Sunrise, Florida, will host an Open House weekend to celebrate their Grand Opening on Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6, 2002.
The celebration kicks off at 9am on Friday, April 5 and lasts until 8pm. Highlights will include special appearances by surprise celebrity guests, aerobic demonstrations, live radio remotes, and entertainment for children.
The event continues from 9am to 3pm on Saturday. Phil Kaplan, fitness expert
and host of the "Mind & Muscle Fitness Hour" on 610 AM WIOD, will be broadcasting his show live from 9am to 10am from the GetCYCED!Fitness club.
Since numerous heart attacks occur while people are working out, the new health club GetCYCED!Fitness made the decision to obtain an in-house defibrillator. Get CYCED!Fitness is the first business in Sunrise to have a defibrillator on premise. "Most victims of cardiac arrest will die within 10 minutes, but a controlled electric shock applied to the heart by a defibrillator during the first 8 to 10 minutes can give the victim a good chance of survival. We want to make sure our members have every chance to survive should anything ever happen," said club owner Terry O'Malley, who spent $3,000 on The HeartStream Semi-Automatic device.
For their concern for having this lifesaving machine on premise, The American Heart Association will be presenting their Heart Saver Award to GetCYCED!Fitness on Friday, April 5, 2002, at 11:00am during the club's Open House weekend.
Personal tours of the facility will be offered, and guests will be invited to learn the inside fitness secrets from the GetCYCED!Fitness professionals. As a special bonus, the regular enrollment fee will be waived for those who join the gym during the Open House weekend.
GetCYCED!Fitness features an incredible selection of the latest resistance and exercise equipment, including the industry's revolutionary new Free Motion © machines and an extensive cardiovascular area featuring the latest treadmills, bikes and elliptical climbers. Multiple machines make waiting a thing of the past!
Offering more than 50 classes each week including yoga and spinning, the 25,000 square foot facility features state-of-the-art amenities. An added feature of the club includes a children's play area, staffed with certified babysitters and complete with video monitors, allowing members to view their child at any time and still enjoy a workout!
By combining state-of-the-art equipment, innovative exercise programming, and superior customer service all in a colorful, motivating environment, GetCYCED!Fitness is the source for helping people become fit and healthy.
